Just got a quote for $250 to change the oil and replace the air filter on my Onan generator. That has 175 hours on it (but spent a lot time in dusty deserts) He included 3 hours of labor for the job @60hr

Does that seem right?!?!

Yep... same prob amen. I had to replace my tube on the top of the gas tank. They found the leak using a smoke machine.

I have a hard sided tire cover on my 1995 but it’s looking gnarly, and I’d like to buy a vinyl one to put over top of the hard cover. (I want to print a logo on the vinyl and protect the current one from further damage)

Trouble is my rig is in storage 2000 miles away.

Report on the heat and what it did to my RV... the headliners had become completely unglued, I've tacked them up for the time being. Also some of the seams on the cabinets doors are starting to split. I'll have to have them reglued. The back window on the driver side expanded a bit and I have a tiny ...

I've learned not to push my rig in hot weather. I save my attitude drives for night time. Going to drive from Bakersfield to Reno in the dead of night.

Whew! That is some hot weather. If it were mine, I would at least open the roof and shower vents to reduce how much heat builds up inside. I'd also keep an eye on the tire pressure of the rear tires, especially if they are getting old.

Maybe this would be a good time to take it out of storage and ...

I have rig parked in a storage lot in BAKERSFIELD CA. The heat wave is producing temps as high as 111 degrees!!! It not under shade but does have some sun protection during part of the day from other vehicles and walls from storage enclosures. [see photo] IMG_2639.JPG
