Airstream SN Tag and Build Sheet

I've been going through the database, trying to find the oldest B190 (1989) registered in order to compare it to mine. In looking at the Airstream Serial Number Tag, it looks like the very top was cut off from a tag they used for something else? Is this tag available for restoration? Is there anyone ...

Re: Towing a vehicle...

Went a different route. Towing an '87 Suzuki and it pulls very well. Drug it over the North Cascades Mountain Pass a couple times without issue, with my 351. Presently doing some body work and plan on matching stripes.

Pop out window gaskets

Happy Holidays.

I have an '89, older than most, but it works well for us....for now. I just purchased a set of pop out windows (side and rear) and need to figure out what I need for gaskets. Can't seem to find a part number and don't have a sample to go from. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Window Weep Hole (drain vent) covers

And we have an update. Just a follow up to my post regarding weep hole covers. I did reach out to Ryan Swinney (Facebook) and his response was as amazing as his talent. He created replacements which I am very excited about. I still have a little scrubbing to complete...

Extra Storage

Just thought I'd share this as we never have enough storage. I went to the local home improvement store and bought some aluminum flat bar to bend and attach to my ladder. Then I went online to Covers & All and had some custom storage bags made. Very inexpensive but very nice. I can now store two ...

Close but no cigar...but interesting...

Ran across this today. It has some interesting adaptations, almost ahead of its time. Maybe this is where the Revel was born from, with the little kick-outs. Its called an Odessey.

Re: Window Weep Hole (drain vent) covers

I've got someone who is going to try to 3D print them. Says it may take a couple prototypes, but is willing to try. I'll update with any progress.

Re: Window Weep Hole (drain vent) covers

They look to have been discontinued some time ago. Now I'm looking for some type of replacement....How dare they!

Window Weep Hole (drain vent) covers

Re caulking the windows and am looking for replacement window vent covers. Guessing they were once white plastic. Approximately 1/2" x 2". Any direction is appreciated.

Wrestling with my insurance

Boy am I having fun. Do we have any idea of where to get an estimate of the original MSRP on a 1989 B-190?

Re: Generator Location

My compartment door does not include a grille, so I'm pretty sure it was originally meant for storage, as well as access to the furnace which is located under the couch, directly behind the driver's seat, but ahead of the access door. I do have both manuals and they offer some different ideas on ...

Re: Generator Location

Thank you for responding. So rough measurements of the generator are 24" across the front, 17" deep, and 12" tall. Rough measurements of the stove cabinet are 25" across the front, 21" deep, and 18" tall. This is going to take some thought. I see where under the couch would work. I just need to find ...

Re: Generator Location

So I would like to revisit this thread. I did previously purchase a generator and carried it around on my car trailer to the races, which worked well. However, I've now sold the race car and we plan to flat tow a vehicle, without the trailer. I just purchased an Onan 2800 microlite and am wrestling ...
