Re: Preliminary pics after rebuild
Looks great!! The floor is beautiful and I love how it's opened up in the back. Really like the exterior.

Re: What Would You Do??
I appreciate the offer Paul. That’s very kind of you but it’s my fresh water tank that I lost. Members on here sent me info regarding size and where to get a replacement so hopefully that won’t be a problem. In answer to your question … will I buy another rig … most likely no unless I hit the lotter...

What Would You Do??
Hi All, I am looking for some advice. I have a 2000 B190 (Eleanor Rig-B) that I absolutely love but unfortunately she has a lot of rust on her undercarriage. When I purchased her in 2017 the seller assured me that rust was not an issue. Foolishly I took his word for it and did not inspect her. Every...

Re: Water Tank Fell Off
Thanks so much for the info. This will be very helpful once I find a reputable rv repair shop. Did you add another metal case around your tank for protection?

Re: Water Tank Fell Off
I guess that's one of my problems ... finding a competent rv mechanic. There is a shop near me and I have gone there in the past but every time I've taken my rig in they either screw something else up or don't do the repair correctly. I get the feeling that they are only interested in repairing luxu...

Re: Water Tank Fell Off
Thanks for the link Skater. Unfortunately I do not have the tank to measure it. It was completely crushed so i left it at the shop where I was towed to. Do you know where I can find out the size that was installed on a 2000? Back in 2016 when I purchased my rig I contacted Airstream for a manual but...

Water Tank Fell Off
HELP PLEASE. A few days ago I was on my way from Houston to California for a 4 month trip to visit my son. On day 2 of my trip my freshwater tank fell off of my rig as I was driving across a bridge. I was on a very busy highway and had to get off the bridge asap and ended up destroying my water tank...

Re: Move Spare Tire
Yes I measured it and it would just fit. But I will find a place somewhere inside my living/sleeping area to store it. I have a really nice mountain bike that I take with me. My kids gave it to me for my birthday and I know it was quite expensive. I usually keep it inside the coach when traveling bu...

Re: Move Spare Tire
I have a rack similar to that (I haven’t installed it yet) but I was worried about the solar suitcase bouncing around and being out in the elements. It does come with a case so it would be somewhat protected and I guess I could also put a tarp around it but I’m a bit worried about it bouncing around...

Re: Move Spare Tire
Thanks for the info but way too pricey for me. I may have to keep the tire where it is and find somewhere else to store the solar suitcase. In the meantime I'm going to go buy lottery tickets.

Re: Move Spare Tire
Yes I thought about that Mike. I have a cargo carrier but the tire will block access to the back door.

Re: Move Spare Tire
Thanks for your input Skater. Unfortunately money is a problem. :( I retired last year and I'm on a very fixed income. I checked out the link you sent and that mount was $850 ..... way too much for me. I saw on the post that I referenced, someone suggested adding a steel plate where I drill the hole...

Move Spare Tire
Hi All, I have a 2000 B190 with the spare tire mounted on the inside of my rig. I am planning to move the spare to the outside back door using a Surco TF200 tire carrier that I got from Amazon. I saw in a post from way back that someone was considering this but was concerned about too much weight on...
Rust
Hi All, I am finally having a sway bar and heavy duty shocks installed in my B190 but now I have other problems and I’d like to get your feedback please. I realize these rvs are old and are always going to have issues and I really want to make this work and get out on the road but I want to be safe....
