I just keep it plugged in on the wall by the bathroom makes a good night light lol.
Its kinda bright.
Thats alot of campsite's and some are running two ac's that's alot of juice.

tdashmike your probably right especially if the campground was full with everyone running a.c. I've got a friend had the same thing happen a year or two ago he carrys a volt meter with him now. I usually do myself but I also picked up one of these plug in meters. It lets me know what my generator is...

Kentuckian's Explanation is definitely better than mine lol But another point is if you plan on monitoring all of you system current in and out with a shunt. Now your going to complicate things even more all grounds run thrue it even your alternator everything in or out! Here you see the shunt below...

If your planning on putting the agm batteries on your original converter dont! It only charges ar one voltage and will kill your new batteries quickly. I remember reading about a recall on the issue of it pumping into the other tank and it overflowing. Probably why they went to a single tank.
