Hey Y'all,
Pick up my 1993 in NC a couple of weeks ago. 3300 miles towing my Harley back to Steamboat. Went via Elkhart (where I Spent some quality time at Bontrager's) and Texas where I picked up a working Generator as the one it came with was dead (per Onan rep in Elkhart). Made the trip without a hitch... pretty impressive for a 27 year old RV that's been sitting for the last 3 years.
Doing a bunch of upgrades and minor repairs to get her roadworthy for a 4-6 month adventure starting in November. Plan to stay out west for the most part then hit Quartzite in January (anyone else going?) Then east to Georgia for a 6 month hike of the Appalachian Trail starting early March.
I full timed in a 97 Wanderlodge for 3 years. The 190 is opposite end of the spectrum and I am very much looking forward to getting out on the road again.
Appreciate all the wisdom here on the board and look forward to running into you... out there!
Later Deet
