Think I'll go with the matte - since the body of mine is kind of rough in many places, putting shiny hubcaps on it may just highlight how rough the rest of it is!

In the title of the post: check our hubcaps.com

I needed to replace one. No one has ever noticed the clone as different from the OEM.

The first generation of clones didn't have Ford embossed in the center-piece

These newer clones at eBay from Nation Wide Hubcaps look to be a big improvement and with metal clips also....

OEM Ford, 1995 & 1996 have the stainless trim rihgs around the perimeter of the hubcap and also the stainless ceter with Ford embossed into it....example

OEM Ford 1997 thru 2000. All the stainless has been removed and the hubcaps are just gray....

Sorry - missed that, too. :)

Alaskan, I think the ones I ordered (from eBay) have a chrome center cap with a blue Ford logo.

Was gonna order 2 sets, maybe I'll wait to see if you see anything you don't like about them

FYI - I saw hubcaps in Pep Boys yesterday for $49.99 that look suspiciously like the ones I ordered (but haven't yet received).

They may NOT have been compatible with the extra long hubs that we have in the back, though - and now that I think about it, the box probably was too small for them. Still, if anyone else is thinking of doing this, definitely check those first...

Got mine!

They look pretty good.

They are lighter (in terms of weight) than the original hubcaps, which isn't altogether a bad thing! All four are identical, but as you can see they fit over the rear hubs just fine.

Don't buy these aftermarket hubcaps on eBay from nationwidehubcaps...they are Taiwan garbage

Spend a little more and buy original OEM Ford caps....

Personally I don't think they're that bad. The eBay ad did clearly state they were reproductions, not originals, so I wasn't surprised to see they weren't as nice as the originals.

My verdict: they look fine and as long as they don't pop off (which I don't think they will, they seem to have a good grip on the wheel), I'm happy.

paper-thin and not one-piece.....very cheap garbage

for some reason they do not center properly on the rims...therefore they look like shit when the wheels are turning, like a mexican rig...

the jerk that sells them only gives you feedback on eBay AFTER he see's the feedback you leave him....clearly the reason for that is he knows he's selling garbage...

positive feedback to the buyer is always given when the buyer fulfills his obligation to pay for the merchandise...

ripped me off on combined shipping also.... zero communications

his feedback indicates he's a scammer with 66 NEGITIVES...

He's getting 3 negitives from me....

Ebay is now fulla scammers like this guy......its Buyer Beware now at eBay
