B190 Enthusiasts

Hi,
I am selling our 1995 B190 (will post vin soon). Van is located in Canton, TX and is a great vehicle. It has:
Ford 460
New custom blackout curtains
New brakes
New rotors
New spare tire
New fuel pump and filter
Only approx 55,000 miles
Limo Tint
Last summer we drove from TX to Glacier Nat Park in Montana for a two week vacation!
Will post pics, actual mileage and vin # soon.
Van is for sale locally as well.

Vent fan is currently not working.


Fridge doesn't cool as much as I would prefer.
Some exterior blue strip peeling off, but not a lot for a 1995 model.
Starts and drives like new.

Hi Skater,
so I've been told you're the man to ask: now that I have that b190 vin# (1b9....) what do I do with it? I read in other topics that last digits are production / unit numbers and such, but is there a database somewhere where you enter your vin# and out pops all kinds of info? Kinda like Carfax for 1F.... ford vin#? Thanks.

It's only somewhat useful - it mostly tells you things you already know. See this post I made the other day for the use of it. I also just posted a Airstream VIN decoder that decodes it for you.

Carfax works because they go to the insurance companies and state databases and grab all the info. The Airstream VIN on a motorhome isn't tracked in any databases (well, except mine, Airstream's, and possibly WBCCI's).
