Thank you Skater and Craigmar for your quick response and advice I found all useful. I really think I want both an oven and microwave ( I can always add the microwave). I am not sure if one year is better than another I guess it just depends on the rig itself. I do appreciate the heads up about the transmissions and I know 1994 have computer problems. I probably won't be watching to much tv, I really use my computer more. What is the best way to utilize your computer if you are not near wifi ( I will be staying in the parking lot at my job)?I really want to buy in the winter as I think prices will be lower, I may be able to detect water leakage as it will be rainy season. But if I find the perfect unit I would be willing to purchase sooner. I am willing to travel to pick up my b190 and then drive it home. I live in California and our smog laws are quite restrictive, I am wondering if anyone has had experience with buying an out of state vehicle and the cost of the changes that must be made to pass smog in CA. I love this website and I so appreciate the experiences and advice everyone shares.

I don't have any experience with California smog laws, but I'll say that mine passes with flying colors in Maryland and it also did in Virginia. Tailpipe emissions were minimal. Pretty impressive considering what it is.

Internet on the road, ahhhh. This reminds me: we were planning to activate tethering on my iPhone so that we would have some net access.

We've found that many campgrounds do have Wifi, but it's not always great - for example, Camp Hatteras (on the North Carolina Outer Banks) was all but unusable during the day most of the time. So, we plan to get tethering on my iPhone and use that for basic internet surfing.

I have a 93 here in Massachusetts. I believe our regulations are the same here as in California, never a problem. In fact, it has never failed emissions since new.

I just completed a 2 week trip thru the Canadian Maritimes. Skater is right, it is not uncommon to find campgrounds that have WiFi, though as he also mentioned, the quality can suffer. Also, the WiFi is usually only in the office area, and can be non-existent at your site. Tethering was a very viable option for us as we traveled-- worked well. Verizon is our provider, but in Canada, not sure who's network were were tapped into. I believe you mentioned you would be using your camper a lot in the parking lot of your employer-- If they have a wireless network, no doubt secured, you may still be able to pick up the signal, as long as you have the code to work with.

If you do not have a cellular, Verizon at least also offers just WiFi thru their system. Of course there is a fee, but it is just an antenna that connects using a USB port.
