So the fiberglass running boards on mine are old, cracked, and need to be repainted (which would involve fixing the cracks).

I'm considering removing them entirely and replacing them with other running boards. Has anyone done this?

I figure if I can get a half-decent set of running boards for $200-$300 it's probably worth doing... as long as the bolt holes from the original running boards don't cause a problem (which they shouldn't - they're all underneath, out of sight, I think).

Whattya gonna do about where they continue up and over the 4 wheel wells..?

They are one continuous piece from the front of the front wheel wells to the very rear of the rear wheel wells.

Just curious, did you replace the running boards ? If so where did you end up getting them and what did they cost?
