I just realized this site has been up over 8 years now, actually closer to 9 (my first post was March, 2007). Wow! I didn't expect it to last this long, because fuel prices were heading up at the time.
But interest in the B190s continues to be very strong, and prices seem to be staying up (in part, I'm sure, because new campers are so expensive)!
When we were in the accident with our B190, the adjuster was using this site to try to judge the value of our B190.
And much thanks!!!! Without this site, I probably would never have found my B190 - and the restoration would have been FAR more difficult without this community. Love my dorm room on wheels...
Skater, let me add my thanks to you and Alaskan for keeping this site going. My 6th anniversary of B190 ownership is next week; I found and joined this awesome site shortly thereafter--thank goodness! Could not have survived without the informational postings from all of these great contributors. We have lots of plans for upcoming trips and a few van projects, so we'll be looking forward to a long and happy membership on B190.com. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! -Cecile (aka Keystone)
As one of the newer members , I would like to say thank you to all who are involved in running this forum and thanks to all who have contributed post on the site.
I have spent many hours soaking in the information and stories posted here. Thanks to all who have taken the time to answer my questions. Here's to another 8 years.
As a new member I also echo what others have said about the value of this site. Years ago some old timers on the Vintage Airstream site were invaluable to me when I was rebuilding a 61 Tradewind. I was so pleased to find the same resource for the B190. Thanks to all whotels had a hand putting it together
Thanks everyone. I can't believe it's been 8 years. When we put our B190 up for sale, my brother asked if this website goes with it.
Meanwhile, I need to update the website's software at some point; it's several versions out of date. I'm not sure when I'll get that done... it might be after the holidays. I'll post an announcement. When I do it, the site should be offline for a few hours at most, hopefully a lot less.
Are there still stickers available Skater???? If so can you post a link so we can help support the site in anyway that we can??
Cheers and thank you for keeping this site going, I know I speak for many when I say that without it we would be a hell of a lot more lost/confused with these beautiful old beasts!!!!

No, I'm out of stickers (well, technically, I'm keeping one so that I have an example for the future). However, we recently got the vinyl cutting stuff for my wife's Cricut machine, so I may be able to make them myself.
As for donations, don't worry about it - the site doesn't cost me anything beyond the hosting I already pay for for my other sites. I'm fortunate enough that I can run it out of pocket without ads. At some point we'll start using more disk space (the gallery pictures) than my allotment and then it'll start costing a bit more each month, but I'll worry about that then. I already have some ideas in mind for when that happens.
I just realized we've now passed 10 years of this website.
Wow. I can't believe I'm still running it. Interest in the B190s seems to be as strong as ever! (Actually it might be even stronger now than it was a few years ago.)
